Binghamton Gateway

Binghamton Gateway, is a 37-unit affordable housing project, developed by First Ward Action Council, Inc. The 37-unit development is spread out over several locations on Clinton Street and Front Street in Binghamton’s First Ward. The project, totaling over $8 million in development costs, was financed through construction loans from NBT Bank and The Governor’s Office of Storm Recovery and an equity investment by Enterprise Community Investment along a blighted area of Front Street.

Goldstein Hall represented First Ward Action Council, Inc. in connection with the acquisition, construction and finance of thirteen multifamily buildings containing thirty-seven units of affordable housing in Binghamton, New York.

Community Impact

Community Impact

The project provides renovated housing to low and moderate income tenants and includes modern building practices and energy conservation techniques. Additionally, the project was able to retain many of the historic features of the late 19th century homes and has added greatly to improving the neighborhoods appearance.
