Prior to joining Goldstein Hall PLLC, Ms. Wayner worked as the Associate General Counsel at Urban American, LLC a real estate investment company with over $2 billion in assets under management that acquires and manages portfolios of urban workforce multifamily properties. Ms. Wayner has experience in negotiating and drafting sale and acquisition agreements of large portfolios, condominium conversions and the negotiation and execution of high-income commercial leases.
Prior to her work at Urban American, Ms. Wayner served as the Director of Programs for the Office of Preservation Services at the New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD). In this role she worked on the disposition of multi-million dollar city-owned properties in Manhattan and coordinated and executed a housing program that partnered HPD, New York City Council Members and non-profit tenant advocacy groups.
Between 2003 and 2005, Ms. Wayner was an associate at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP in the Banking & Institutional Investing group.
Ms. Wayner serves as Co-Treasurer on the Board of Trustees of Teaching Firms of America Professional Preparatory Charter School, an elementary school in Brooklyn, NY.
