Strategic Planning Advisor
Helena Sowah is the Strategic Planning Advisor at Goldstein Hall. She is responsible for the marketing and operations efforts of the firm as well as the content cultivation of Goldstein Hall’s official social media channels. She is a detail-oriented professional with strengths in event creation, planning and execution. Helena’s goal is to assist Goldstein Hall in maximizing its exposure by developing strategies that clearly convey the firm’s mission driven message; creating memorable and effective experiences.
Prior to joining Goldstein Hall, Helena worked as a finance associate on a presidential campaign. As a finance associate, with a small team of seven, Helena helped to raise ten million dollars in the tri-state region during her first quarter deadline, surpassing fundraising goals. To keep donors engaged and proactive, Helena developed a donor maintenance program that bridged the gap between donors and the campaign. As a fundraiser, Helena engaged in relationship building with activists, VIP contributors and senior executives.
Helena began her career as a political consultant, assisting with the re-election of Brooklyn’s first African-American district attorney. Together, with a small team, she raised over half a million dollars in a single quarter (an incredible feat for a local election). Working with a small boutique firm, allowed her to choose clients who were mission driven, while using her platform to meaningfully impact deserving communities.
