Steven E. Spada
Mr. Spada’s practice focuses on corporate law, construction law, and commercial transactions and litigation. Mr. Spada advises public and private companies on various transactional and corporate law matters and he represents a broad range of clients including owners, contractors, subcontractors, construction managers, officers, directors, and shareholders.
Mr. Spada also has extensive experience in the formation of Limited Liability Companies (LLC), Professional Limited Liability Companies (PLLC) and Professional Corporations (PC). Mr. Spada works with clients in choosing the proper business entity and ensures that all formation and publication requirements are met.
Mr. Spada earned his Bachelor of Arts from Fordham University and his Juris Doctor from Brooklyn Law School, graduating with a Certificate in Business Law. While attending law school, Mr. Spada worked for the New York City Department of Design and Construction (DDC) answering a variety of questions posed by city agencies involved in construction and development projects. Mr. Spada provided research and analysis for DDC concerning the statutory consequences of public work construction contracts for the purpose of generating discussion which will lead to appropriate changes in practices and policies throughout New York City.
Mr. Spada also worked at the New York City Transit Authority Law Department, representing the city in the defense of personal injury lawsuits.
