Claudia Ratner concentrates her practice in affordable housing and real estate transactions.
Prior to joining Goldstein Hall, Claudia worked as a law clerk in various practices of law, including real estate, family law, maritime law, and personal injury. Claudia graduated from the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra University in May 2021 with a concentration in intellectual property. She served as the Notes and Comments Editor for the Family CourtReview, where her student note, “When Sweetie Is Not So Sweet: Artificial Intelligence and Its Implications for Child Pornography,” was published in April 2021. During law school, Claudia worked for the Nassau County Supreme Court Matrimonial Center in the Navigator program, as a researcher in Hofstra’s Law, Logic, and Technology Lab, and as a research assistant for Professor Stephen Krieger, where she worked on an oral history project that focused on a housing discrimination case in Farmingdale, New York.
